Stayed at Fletcher Hotel and had a great experience. The location was interesting, nestled in a residential neighborhood but still within walking distance to the charming Voorlinden museum and beautiful parks. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and the classic atmosphere added a touch of elegance. The hotel also offered e-bike rentals, which allowed us to explore the surrounding green areas and dunes. The included breakfast was satisfactory and we enjoyed sitting on the nice terrace outside.

The hotel is in a very quiet and beautiful residential area. It is clean and in very good shape. The breakfast was quite good and the price was reasonable.

Our standard room was a little small and the matresses were not firm.

Spacious family room that easily accommodated all of us , super friendly and helpful staff who made sure we were comfortable, extra duvets provided immediately because of the cold, understanding about leaving a day earlier due to the cold. Scrambled eggs for breakfast made me happy. Good location, although the building and rooms could use some upgrading, good parking area, free wi-fi, bar/lounge area.

I chose the Kieviet Hotel because of the specific location. I had a reason to be in the neighbourhood and the hotel was in walking distance to the places I wanted to see. However, this hotel is not centrally located so people staying here should know the area.

The hotel is very comfortable and the people are very helpful and polite. However, I found the hotel to be overpriced for the type of room and the breakfast (included in the price). The breakfast was ok but not terrific - the usual selection of items for a simple buffet.

Some areas of the hotel could be spruced up or modernised. For example; for some reason there's grafitti scratched into the lift. At full price I think I would have been disappointed but with a discount it's fit for purpose.

The Kieviet is located in 'old' Wassenaar, with the benefit of being a short taxi ride to Den Haag or Scheveningen. I love its location in the woods, and ample outdoor terraces. Rooms are generous in size.

The hotel is a faded glory. Over the last 20 years it has traded on a past reputation and there has been little investment in f,f & E. It seems like the management (which I understand has changed several times) is trying to compete on price with the Van der Valk hotel barely a km away. They dont need to. The Van der Valk is a bog-standard IBIS-type soulless place. The Kieviet should invest in upgrades and charge more. The € 84 per night rate is silly. I would rather pay € 110 per night and have a refurbed bathroom and a decent breakfast. The breakfast was poor. I arrived at 09.30 - no staff in sight. no coffee left. no tables cleared up. a shame, because the Kieviet has all the potential to be a 4 star+ hotel, but trades like a 2.

This place is situated in a beautiful area, making it an excellent choice for my stay. The hotel's location in the affluent area of Wassenaar, on the bus route to The Hague, was very convenient for me. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, with friendly and helpful employees making me feel welcome. The room amenities, such as the comfortable sitting area, in-room safe, and television, added to my overall comfort. Additionally, the dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were great spots to unwind and enjoy delicious food.

I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I've first come to your Hotel in 2004. My impression then was that it was a luxury hotel. We lived in Wassenaar for almost 5 years and we came back to stay one week to meet several friends. I've booked the room through Booked.net and it was cheaper than through the hotel's site. But the result was staying in a room that needs renewal: we had problems with the back door that leads to a fire staircase, the water was not running free through sink and the bathtube, the matresses were really old. Although the room was spacious , with a sofa and a table, it was very disappointing . I will probably come back several times, it is the only choice to stay in Wassenaar, but I will make sure that I get a better room.
